There are different types of orchids that you can place inside your garden space. In terms of re-blooming orchids, your knowledge about watering, fertilizer and temperature are important factors for the sustainability and adaptability on the type of orchid you want to re-bloom.
For each genus of orchid, they will have various requirements for their re-blooming process. Those that are not commonly known orchids such as Phalaenopsis, Odontoglossum and Zygopetalum require only a small adjustment in the temperature for the blooming process to happen. On the other hand, those genus type like Oncidium and Dendrobium need a fertilizer to be applied that is rich in phoshorus and blossom-booster formula vitamins.
One of the factors for an orchid to re-grow is light. There are the two kinds of light: the good and the bad. The usual night temperature applied are between 60-62 degrees Fahrenheit and in day time it should range from 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
If the temperatures at night hits 55 degrees F, you need not to worry about your orchids since it can still manage to adapt, also in daytime temperatures when it reaches 90-95 degrees F.
Watering is one of most crucial of aspect in growth process of orchids. Always water early in the morning so that orchids dry out at nighttime. The amount of water applied varies from where you live and weather conditions that may occur. During winter, you are likely to water it once a week and twice when it warm and dry season.
These are just some of the many tips wherein you can use in nurturing your orchids. Take note that, each genus type of orchid has its own unique for it to re-bloom. Hence, you should have enough knowledge on how to take care your orchids at home or garden space.
