A rock garden can be a thing of beauty for any person. Why choose a rock garden? You might not see the purpose of a rock garden, but in reality they are a great option for those with sloped yards that may be difficult to mow. Or an area that you cannot get grass to grow would make a great location for a rock garden. A rock garden doesn't consist of just rocks. While rocks are the main attraction, you can also weave in flowers and foliage that would resemble a mountainside, in order to complement the rock garden properly.

Herb gardens are typically preferred by those who love to cook using fresh ingredients. Herb gardens can be started indoors and transferred or kept inside. Nowadays you can purchase herb kits or choose the different herbs you wish to grow with little equipment and supplied needed. It's an affordable hobby for anyone who loves fresh grown herbs in their meals.

Vegetable Garden

Vegetable gardens are very beneficial, especially today due to the economy and rising costs of food, especially vegetables and anything "good" for you. Growing your own vegetable garden means you have fresh vegetables all year-round and you can save a whole lot of money growing your own instead of purchasing them. Not to mention you know what you're getting with your own vegetables; fresh organic veggies! Some vegetables have different requirements and often times your region will affect what type you are able to grow in your yard, but that is no longer an issue; for anyone.
